We are here for anyone in London who has been raped or sexually assaulted in the past 12 months.

We help you to deal with and recover from the physical and emotional effects of the assault.

We aim to give you the information you need to take control and make the best choices for you.

Everyone you will meet at the Havens is experienced in helping people who’ve been raped or sexual assaulted. They will believe and support you, and treat you with respect.

Please be aware that we are not a walk-in service. Please only come to the Havens if you have an appointment.

Everything you do at the Havens is up to you

You choose which, if any, of our services you want to use. We want you to feel comfortable with your decisions and will support you whatever choices you make.

We treat you as an individual because everyone’s experience is different.

What we offer

We can offer:

This video is about what it can be like to get support from a sexual assault referral centre like The Havens:

All our centres have showers, and can provide you with toiletries and refreshments. We give you new clothes if you need to give up your own as evidence.

We can advise and support on involving the police

You can use our services without having to report the assault or rape to the police, unless you are under 13.

But if you do decide to report what happened, we can advise you and guide you through the process.

You decide how involved the police are: no contact at all, an informal chat, a full report – it’s up to you.
