Our sexual assault referral centres (SARCs) take referrals from professionals such as GPs, sexual health clinics or emergency departments for rapes and sexual assaults in London, 24 hours a day, seven days a week. We also take self-referrals and police referrals.

Use this number if your patient aged 13 or over tells you that they have been raped or sexually assaulted and this has happened within the past seven days.
We will be able to tell you whether to advise your patient to come immediately to the Havens for medical care or a forensic medical examination, or to visit us at a later date for follow-up care. How to refer details the urgent referral process.
